Projects
At Tranquil Outdoor Living Spaces we deliver detailed landscape designs at a moment's notice. We are based in Austin, Texas and are able to service clients around the world. Our goal is to work through all aspects of a project (digitally), before breaking ground, in order to avoid costly mistakes.
Kinniki Project
One of our latest projects is this 225' x 170' backyard in the far West side of Austin, Texas. Our client wanted a pergola, kitchen, pond, soccer field, fire pit, and garden. The biggest challenge was creating a seamless transition between each feature. Our solution was to group most of the features together on a single pathway. This created direction on the property where there was none before.
Stearns Project
The owners of this property wanted to transform one part of their duplex into a dreamy Airbnb spot. One of their main concerns was privacy for the pool and patio. We decided to go with tall metal fencing and artificial vines to block the views. The biggest challenge was designing on a narrow side yard. Our solution was to divide the space into three different areas and to have plenty of walking space between them.
San Juan Project
We were called out to this property because the owners wanted to add a kitchen, pergola, and artificial grass to their pool area. There were many amenities there already, so our main focus was to not disrupt the balance between the existing features. The biggest challenge was finding a way to soften up this space. Our solution was to exclude pavers and add plenty of shrubs and artificial grass around the hardscape.
Donoher Project
This is one of our favorite projects so far. Our clients' backyard was a clean slate and they wanted to transform it into the perfect hosting spot for friends and family. They are known for their dance parties and backyard camping, so we made sure to give them enough space for that. The biggest challenge was putting together an elaborate design that would follow the HOA's rules. Our solution was to create a modular space that could easily be adjusted depending on the HOA's or clients' needs.
